Double Cross

Double Cross is a daily crossword from Everhall where your mission is to fill the grid when every card gives you two clues and two answers that share the same pair of squares.

Each card hands you a pair of clues and leaves the sorting to you. Both answers have the same length, but nothing says which one goes in which slot. Crossing letters from neighboring answers are your best evidence.

• Solve both clues on a card.
• Decide which answer belongs in which slot.
• Wrong placements cost you strikes.
• Seal the whole grid before the strikes run out.
