Playlin'sGuide
Double-Dabble is a daily word puzzle where your mission is to find the Wordle-like target word but using only one letter at a time from a given set of letter pairs. It's like Wordle but with anagram-ish qualities.
You're given a pool of letter pairs and a Wordle-like grid. Your job is to create a valid word guess by looking at either one of the letters in each pair to spell the 5-letter word. For example, you might select the following pairs to create the word FOUND:
[ef] [ot] [ju] [kn] [dr]
creates the word
[f][o][u][n][d]
Similar to Wordle, letters in your guess are:
- π©Green if either bound letter is in the right place.
- π¨Yellow if either bound letter is in the word somewhere else.
- β¬Grey if neither bound letter is in the word.
Why we like it:
- β The added challenge of not knowing which letter is the "right" one.
- β Familiar to Wordle players and relatively straightforward to pick up.
- β Ability to play past games.
Hint: Start by creating any word you can find that would work and narrow down from there.
