Objective

Drag numbered boxes around the grid to merge identical ones and score points while preventing the board from becoming completely full.

Playlin'sGuide

Drag N' Merge is a strategic puzzle game where your mission is to combine numbered boxes for points while preventing the board from filling up completely.

Each turn, you drag one box to a different position on the grid. Boxes can't pass through each other, so you need to plan your route. Once you move, gravity takes over and boxes drop down. When identical boxes land next to each other, they merge. Two boxes double in value. Three boxes quadruple it.

Here's how it works:

  • Drag a box to any open spot. You can't move through other boxes.
  • Boxes fall and merge automatically if two or three match.
  • If no merges happen, a new row appears at the bottom.
  • New boxes only spawn in columns with space available.
  • The game ends when you can't make a legal move.

Your score climbs as you create higher value boxes. The longer you survive, the trickier it gets to find room to maneuver.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…The triple merge mechanic rewards planning ahead instead of just reacting.
  • βœ…Simple drag controls make it easy to learn but surprisingly hard to master.
  • βœ…No timer means you can think through every move without pressure.

Hint: Keep your highest value boxes in one area instead of scattering them. This gives you more flexibility to shuffle lower boxes around and set up future merges without blocking yourself.
