Objective

For each of five clues, pin the location on the globe and set the year it happened.

Playlin'sGuide

GEOPOCH is a daily history quiz on a 3D globe where your mission is to pinpoint where and when an event, building, or work from world history happened across five puzzles.

Each round gives you a clue. Spin the globe, tap the map to drop your pin, then set the timeline to the year. The clock is running, so faster answers keep more of your points.

  • Choose Classic (Antiquity to 1999) or New Era (2000 to 2025).
  • The year timeline is coarse on the left and very fine on the right. Use the small buttons to nudge the year by 1 or 10.
  • Each question is worth up to 2,000 points.
  • Two extra clues are available, and each one costs 15% of the points.
  • The daily round gives you 60 seconds per question. Even at the end of the limit you keep 70% of your points.
  • Free play lets you pick a topic, a difficulty, and an optional time limit. Topics include art, architecture, music, politics, technology, literature, and science.
  • You can also play with friends or check the leaderboard.

Why we like it:

  • ✅Guessing both place and year makes every round feel like a small history detective case.
  • ✅Free play with topic and difficulty options lets you practice what you love, or what you need to learn.
  • ✅It's free with no sign-up, and the 3D globe is a joy to spin.

Hint: Lock in your location first, then use the architecture, clothing, materials, and technology in the clue to narrow the era. Save the extra clues for when you're stuck, since each one trims your score.
