Objective

Compare the arrows pointing from a central city to named places and choose the one with a false bearing.

Playlin'sGuide

False Bearing is a daily geography puzzle where your mission is to spot the one lying arrow among five that point from a central city toward named cities.

Each round shows a city in the middle, ringed by arrows aimed at other places around the world. Four arrows point the true direction. One is off, and it's up to you to work out which. Trust your mental map, but double-check it.

  • Tap the arrow you think is lying, then confirm your choice.
  • You get one try per leg, so commit only when you're sure.
  • Each leg is trickier than the last, and finishing them all completes the day's round.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…It turns your mental world map into a real test of instinct.
  • βœ…The tap-then-confirm step keeps you from misclicking.
  • βœ…Every round leaves you with a better sense of where cities sit in relation to each other.

Hint: Start by ruling out the arrows you're sure about. Distant cities are often where our mental maps are weakest, so a bearing that feels slightly off is worth a second look.
