GeoSlice is a daily geography game where your mission is to split a region's population in half with a single line.
In the default Halves mode, you get three locations each day. Drag your dividing line into position and aim for a 50/50 population split. Two equally sized pieces of land could hold very different numbers of people, so where you draw the line matters.
How it works:
- Study the map and consider where people are likely to live.
- Drag the line to put half the region's population on each side.
- Select Lock in split when you're ready.
- Each round earns up to 100 points, with more even population splits scoring higher.
- After you submit, a green dashed line shows an adjustment that would have brought you closer to an even split.
- Complete all three rounds for the day's results.
Want another challenge? Thirds and Quarters ask you to balance the population across three or four pieces.
Why we like it:
- ✅A fresh geography challenge about where people live.
- ✅One simple line makes for surprisingly tricky decisions.
- ✅The reveal gives you something to learn from every round.
Hint: A large city can outweigh a huge stretch of countryside. Look for population centers before aiming for the middle of the map.
