Objective

Explore a 360-degree photograph from a historical moment, then place a pin on the world map and slide a timeline to guess both the location and year.

Playlin'sGuide

HistoryGuesser is a daily history puzzle where you explore 360° scenes from real historical moments and guess both the location and year in 5 rounds.

Each puzzle drops you into a panoramic photograph from the past. Drag to look around. Study the architecture, the clothing, the cars, the signage. Then drop a pin on the world map and slide a timeline from 3000 BC to today. The closer you get on both counts, the higher your score.

  • You get 5 rounds per daily challenge, the same five for everyone.
  • Drag the 360° panorama to explore. Look for visual clues in every direction.
  • Drop a pin on the world map. Regional accuracy already earns points.
  • Slide the year estimate anywhere from ancient history to the present day.
  • Scoring rewards proximity. Close counts, but precision pays.
  • Beyond the daily board, you can play themed runs by country, era, or subject like music, sports, and cinema.

Why we like it:

  • The 360° exploration makes every round feel like detective work.
  • You learn something whether you nail it or miss by a century.
  • Huge variety in modes, from single era deep dives to multiplayer leaderboards.

Hint: Start wide. Scan the full panorama before zeroing in on details. A single car model or storefront sign can pin the decade, but the broader scene sets the continent first.
