Objective

Compose an ode to today's topic phrase using only the allowed letters, repeating them as needed.

Playlin'sGuide

Odle is a daily creative writing game where your mission is to write an ode using only the letters from a given topic phrase.

Each day you get a new phrase like "CHILDREN'S MUSEUMS" or "AUTUMN LEAVES." Your job is to craft a poem, an ode to that subject, but with a twist: you can only use the letters contained in the phrase itself. Repeat letters as much as you want, but if it's not in the phrase, it's not on your keyboard.

  • A custom keyboard shows only the available letters from the day's phrase.
  • Use each letter as many times as you need.
  • There are no rules and no wrong answers. Write something heartfelt, silly, or abstract.
  • Share your ode with friends using the share button.
  • You can write multiple odes per puzzle if inspiration strikes.

Why we like it:

  • It's genuinely creative, not competitive, so there's no pressure to "win."
  • The letter constraint forces clever wordplay and happy accidents.
  • Perfect for writers, puzzlers, and anyone who likes playing with language.

Hint: Start by scanning for common short words you can build, then layer in longer or sillier constructions. Nonsense words and repetition are your friends here.
