PicBits is a daily picture puzzle that challenges you to identify a hidden image while revealing as few pixels as possible to protect your score.
You start with a blank grid. Every cell you reveal chips away at your score, so restraint pays off. The goal is to recognize the image early, make your guess, and lock in the highest percentage you can.
- Tap to reveal individual pixels one at a time.
- Each revealed pixel lowers your score slightly.
- The category (like "Animal" or "Object") is shown from the start to narrow the field.
- When you think you know it, hit the guess button and type your answer.
- Your final score reflects how much of the grid you left untouched and how long you took.
Why we like it:
- ✅The scoring system turns recognition into a high stakes game of chicken.
- ✅Starting with just a category and a blank grid is pleasantly minimalist.
Hint: Reveal pixels in a loose cross or diagonal pattern first to get shape and orientation. Clumping your reveals in one corner wastes information and tanks your score faster.
