Balance the suns and moons.

Fill each cell with a sun or moon so every row and column has equal counts, no three matching symbols appear consecutively, and all equal/opposite markers are satisfied.
Playlin'sGuide
Equinox is a daily logic puzzle where your mission is to fill a grid with suns and moons while balancing three strict rules: equal symbols in every row and column, no three matching in a row, and respect for equal/opposite markers.
Each puzzle gives you a partially empty grid dotted with clue markers. Tap a cell to cycle between sun, moon, and empty. Your job is to place symbols so the grid obeys all constraints at once.
- Every row and column must contain an equal number of suns and moons.
- No three matching symbols may appear consecutively in any row or column.
- Equal (=) and opposite (Γ) markers between cells must be honored. Equal means both cells hold the same symbol. Opposite means they differ.
- Tap any cell to cycle through sun, moon, or leave it empty as you work.
- Six different puzzles drop every day.
Why we like it:
- β The three-way constraint system creates genuinely clever deduction chains.
- β Celestial theming makes a logic grid feel charming instead of clinical.
- β Satisfying enough to finish in one sitting, tricky enough to make you think.
Hint: Start with rows or columns that already have several symbols placed. The equal split rule combined with the no-three-in-a-row constraint often forces cells into only one possible option. Use the markers as anchors to lock down adjacent pairs early.
