Objective

Name a boss for each cell that meets both its row requirement and column requirement, building a complete 3x3 grid with three mistakes allowed.

Playlin'sGuide

Soulsdoku is a daily grid puzzle where your mission is to fill a 3Γ—3 board with FromSoftware bosses from across the Soulsborne catalog, matching both row and column criteria in 3 lives.

Every cell is an intersection. The top shows a column requirement, the side shows a row requirement, and you need to name a boss that satisfies both. Pick Dragonlord Placidusax for "Elden Ring" and "Optional," then move to the next. Each boss can only be used once per grid, so you need nine different answers to complete the board.

  • Tap a cell to see what it needs (game title, boss type, damage dealt, location, and more).
  • Type a boss name to fill it. A correct answer locks the cell and costs nothing.
  • A wrong answer costs one Estus. You have 3 Estus total for the whole grid.
  • No boss can appear twice on the same board.
  • Correct picks earn Souls based on rarity. Obscure bosses score higher than obvious ones.
  • Complete all nine cells to finish, or run out of Estus and the puzzle ends.
  • A new grid drops daily at midnight UTC. The same board for everyone, everywhere.

The game also offers Classic mode (guess a mystery boss from clues), Arena, Silhouette, Lore, and Emoji variants for when the grid isn't enough.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…Rewards deep Soulsborne knowledge without punishing casual fans who stick to the hits.
  • βœ…The rarity system means two perfect scores can still compete on style.
  • βœ…Compact enough to finish in one sitting, dense enough to make you think.

Hint: Start with the most restrictive intersections first. A cell asking for "Demon's Souls" and "Dragon" has far fewer answers than "Elden Ring" and "Mandatory," so lock down the tough ones early and save your Estus for the wider categories.
