Think in Odds is a daily probability puzzle where you reason through a short scenario involving chance.

Each puzzle poses a question about probability, expected value, or strategy. Read the scenario and its assumptions, work out your answer, then compare your reasoning with a worked explanation.

• Open Read the assumptions to check the conditions that apply.
• Enter your answer as a fraction, decimal, or percentage, such as 2/3, 0.667, or 66.7%.
• Select Check answer to see whether you're correct.
• Use Give me a hint if you need help finding a way forward.
• Select Reveal solution to see the answer and its explanation. Revealing the solution ends your attempt.

A new puzzle arrives daily at 8 p.m. Eastern, and previous puzzles are available in the Archive. No account is required, and your progress is saved in your browser.
