Playlin'sGuide

Three Bearings is a daily geography puzzle where your mission is to find a hidden city using its distance and direction from three known cities.

Each leg shows three cities, along with how far away the mystery city lies and which way to head from each one. Picture the lines crossing on a map. The spot where they meet is your answer.

  • Pick a city to make your guess.
  • Each guess is marked exact, near, or not close.
  • Use that feedback to steer your next guess.
  • You get 5 tries per leg, and each leg is harder than the last.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…It turns a mental map of the world into a clever little detective case.
  • βœ…The near and not close feedback makes every wrong guess useful.
  • βœ…Quick to learn, and the rising difficulty keeps each leg fresh.

Hint: Start with the city that gives you the shortest distance, then use the other two directions to confirm it. Narrowing down the region first beats guessing at random.
