Who Farted? is a daily logic puzzle about being trapped in an elevator with a mystery nobody wants to solve by smell alone. Someone is responsible, and the passengers’ statements are your clues. Work out whose story holds up and who’s full of hot air.
Read the elevator notice before you start. Usually, only the culprit lies, but some puzzles add an innocent liar or a second culprit. The challenge gets harder throughout the week, introducing clues about positions, if-then statements, and even a dog who can't talk but can still be guilty.
- Read today’s notice to learn how many culprits and liars you're dealing with.
- Compare the statements against one another. Use the numbered positions when a clue refers to where someone is standing.
- Tap passengers to mark them innocent or suspicious. These marks are just notes and don't count against you.
- When you're ready, tap Accuse, then select your suspect. Three wrong accusations end the game.
- Stuck? Sniff gives you a clue about the culprit’s position. Using it appears on your shared result.
- A new puzzle arrives daily, and past puzzles are available in the archive.
Every puzzle has exactly one solution, so you can work your way to the answer through deduction.
Why we like it:
- ✅A ridiculous premise gives classic truth-and-lies logic a memorable setting.
- ✅Changing rules keep you from using the same approach every day.
- ✅The weekly difficulty climb offers both gentle warm-ups and tougher deductions.
Hint: Assume one suspect is guilty, then check what that would make true or false. If the statements can't fit today’s rules, you've cleared them. On two-culprit days, test pairs instead.
