Trilogy

Trilogy is a daily word chain puzzle where your mission is to find the missing middle word that links two clue words together.

Each puzzle shows a word on the left and a word on the right with a blank in between. The answer has to form a compound word or common phrase with both sides. You'll see how many letters the mystery word has, so you know what you're hunting for.

• Type the word that fits between the two clues.
• Your guess is checked against the chain, so a wrong one sends you back to think again.
• You have 3 guesses to crack it.
• Lifeline buoys can reveal a missing letter if you get stuck.

Hint: Test each side on its own first. Brainstorm words that pair with the left clue, then check which of those also work with the right clue. The overlap is usually your answer.
