HexHunt is a daily geography game from the makers of Worldle where your mission is to find seven locations on a world map by choosing the hex where you think each one sits, with 3 guesses per place.
Each round names a city or landmark. Pan around the map, zoom to set your hex size, tap a hex, and submit. Zoom in for smaller hexes that pay more but are harder to land. Zoom out for bigger hexes that are safer but pay less.
- Pan and zoom to pick your hex size, from wide and safe to expert and risky.
- Your hex size sets the points available, and a smaller hex means a higher ceiling.
- Accuracy decides how much you keep. Land inside the hex for 100%, about 1.5 hexes away for 60%, about 3 hexes away for 30%, and farther for nothing.
- Guess order matters too. Your first guess keeps 100%, your second 80%, and your third 60%.
- Feedback after each guess tells you if you're Found, Hot, Warm, Cool, or Cold.
- Each location is worth up to 200 points, for a maximum of 1,400 per day.
- Map colours can be changed in the menu under Settings if you want a palette that's easier on the eyes.
Why we like it:
- β It rewards confidence, so you decide how much risk to take on every single guess.
- β The Hot to Cold feedback scales with your hex size, which makes each retry feel like real progress.
- β Seven quick rounds make it an easy daily habit for geography fans.
Hint: Start wide on places you only half know, then use the feedback to shrink your hex on later guesses. A confident zoom-in works best when you already know the country and region.
