Identify the correct city using zoom-out hints from your guesses.

Playlin'sGuide

Satle is a daily geography challenge where your mission is to guess the city from a satellite image in 6 tries.

Each puzzle starts with a close-up satellite view of a city somewhere in the world. Type a city name to guess. If you're wrong, the image zooms out further and you’re shown the direction and distance from your guess to the correct city. You can click on previous guesses to revisit earlier images and track your progress.

  • You have 6 guesses to identify the city.
  • Each wrong guess zooms the image out and gives you a hint.
  • A new city puzzle is released daily.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…It blends geography with visual puzzle-solving in a fresh and engaging way.
  • βœ…The zoom-out mechanic adds a unique layer of feedback that helps you narrow down the answer.
  • βœ…A great way to learn about cities and their landmarks from around the globe.

Hint: Start with major landmarks or distinctive city features visible in the first image. Use the zoom levels to your advantage. The further out you go, the more you can see of the city’s layout and surrounding area.
