Typecasted

Typecasted is a daily movie trivia game with two distinct modes where you chain films and actors together, putting your cinematic memory to the test.

It's built on the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon principle: every film connects to an actor, and every actor connects to another film. Endless challenges you to build the longest chain possible before time runs out. Make the Cut gives you two films and asks you to connect them through shared cast in five links or fewer.

How it works:

In Endless, you start with a seed film and race against a 20-second timer. Pick an actor from that film, then pick another film they appeared in. No repeats allowed. Each correct link resets the clock. Keep going until time runs out. Your chain length is your score, and you'll see how you stacked up on the daily leaderboard.

In Make the Cut, there's no timer. You're given a starting film and a destination film. Connect them by alternating between actors and films, building a bridge through shared cast. Solve it in five moves or fewer and you've Made the Cut. After finishing, you'll see the shortest possible solution and how other players connected the dots.

Both modes reset at midnight with fresh starting films. No account required to play, but signing up lets you track streaks and climb the leaderboard.
